Looking for Luxurious, Modern Living in Downtown Columbus? Experience ExecuStay
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
When you think of downtown Columbus, you may not think of high-rise condos with beautiful views and modern luxury living. But today, I’m here to tell you otherwise. ExecuStay, a temporary housing company with locations in Columbus and Cincinnati, makes it possible for you to feel all the comforts of home while you’re away.
Whether you are traveling for business on a long-term assignment or a new family looking to relocate, ExecuStay will and can be your home away from home. Their quality of service has gained the business of high-profiled clients starring in movies to contractors working on long-term assignments; it’s all because they place you, the customer, as a top priority.
I highly recommend booking with ExecuStay, based on my recent experience. If you sign a contract agreement for 30 days or more, and mention “Columbus Living Blog,” you will receive a $50 gift card upon move-in. And let me be completely transparent, I do not receive any compensation for this offer, so this is just me helping my Columbus transplants get accustomed to the city.
Actually, for my birthday this year, I experienced one of their apartments at 250 High. This year, I really just wanted to relax, drink artisan cocktails, and keep the vibes extremely chill. So, my best friend did exactly what any best friend would do – she booked me an apartment through ExecuStay.
I am blessed to have friends like her, and it was the perfect birthday gift. The apartment came fully furnished and provided stunning views of all the hustle and bustle taking place on South High Street. We started our night at Marcella’s in Short North, a dimly lit restaurant, serving up classic Italian dishes, and ordered some of my favorites, including the savory, braised veal meatball, fried risotto balls with melted mozzarella in the center, and crisp, lightly salted calamari with sweet marinara sauce. Are you drooling, too?
Although, it was slightly raining on my birthday weekend, I enjoyed the beautiful overcast that fell upon the city, giving me an insanely peaceful state-of-mind. It was more than perfect. And all throughout the weekend, I was able to pamper myself in very unique, yet different ways with various friends and family.
The 250 High apartment building (near Columbus Commons) is within close proximity to the Posh Nail Bar, Winan’s Chocolate and Wine, Condado Tacos, the Ohio Statehouse, Milestone 229, Bicentennial Park, and so much more. Within six hours, I was able to get a pedicure in the morning, tacos for lunch, and take a private pottery class down the street in German Village.
It was so convenient to be within walking distance of so many of my favorite restaurants and retail shops. As many Columbus natives have experienced first-hand, there is a lot of construction and recent development taking place in one of the fastest growing cities in the United States; and more than ever, I’m excited for all the possibilities of what is yet to come.
With all the new retail shops and restaurants popping up around the city, it’s no wonder that more people are flocking to the downtown area to experience the city life with easy access to biking trails along the Scioto Mile and free transportation from the Brewery District to the furthest end of Short North through the COTA bus.
As a Columbus local, who has seen the city transformed drastically in the past few years, I’ve always considered a vibrant downtown as a place with eclectic rooftop bars, high-rise skyscrapers, buzzing traffic, and modern, chic restaurants, and believe it or not, I truly believe Columbus is well on its way. Oh, and if you are in need of a grocery store, no worries; the Brewery District offers a well-stocked, modern-styled Kroger right behind Shadowbox Live.
