ABOUT ME

Hi. I’m Morgan Pelt.

I’m a wife and Millennial Mama, living in the suburbs, just north of Columbus, Ohio, and I’d like to invite you into my world. In 2014, I started this blog as a creative outlet from my day job, getting to know the movers, shakers, and places of this city.

Fast forward to now… and this blog has become so much more than a documentary of my life experiences and how I feel about the world; it’s really created a sense of community for me.

A little about me… my photos app is almost at max capacity with videos and photos of my daughter, I feel the most confident in curls. I prefer my food extra spicy – and I’m married to a model (not really, but seriously). I love sharing positive energy with others.

For me, an ideal weekend includes sleeping in till 8 (if my toddler will allow me) a well-balanced playlist, a local festival or barbecue in 74 degree weather, and time spent with family and close friends.

Within the past couple of years, I have left and started new jobs, suffered from severe anxiety, totaled my car, accumulated thousands of dollars in credit card debt, struggled with impostor syndrome, and have cut off toxic relationships because they were no longer worth my peace of mind.

Based on my social media presence, you would never know any of that – but the struggle is real. Life is not easy, and I want to talk about the real things and people that matter. From relationships to marriage, and entrepreneurial passions, we’ll talk about it all. By the way, it took me all day to write this bio – which makes me both ashamed, and proud.
